This system serves many purposes

This server supports anonymous FTP, secure FTP, Rlogin, and Telnet.
A full Web server is also in operation on this server.
If you'd like to speak with a sales representative, you can call
800/328-1128 (U.S. and Canada) or 954/583-5990 (international) Monday
through Friday from 8:30am to 6pm EST. You can also leave e-mail to
"Customer Service" while you're online. If you have technical questions,
you can contact our Technical Support Department at 954/321-2404 Monday
through Friday from 8:30 am to 6:00pm EST, or leave e-mail to the
User-ID "Tech Support."

To keep our accounts at a more manageable level, new user accounts are
routinely deleted every 45 days.
Users are required to use their real name online. The system operator
routinely reviews new user signups and will delete all suspicious accounts.
If you are a Galacticomm customer, write to User-ID Sysop for more
time by providing your registration number. Alternatively, you can
provide your registration number in the Customer Menu online.
If you are a CoSysop on a system, please also include your Sysop's
User-ID on this system. Accounts will only be validated with your
Sysop's permission.
If you are from the Press, please notify User-ID Sysop so your access can be
upgraded accordingly.
The Galacticomm Demo System is now running Worldgroup v2.0, integrating
Web services with Worldgroup Client/Server Windows applications. The Plug-in
software (known as the Worldgroup Manager) offers your users a rich Windows
multimedia interface, while maintaining a direct, secure link to the server.
It includes

The client interface works over Internet, LAN,
modem, X.25, and direct serial links.
The server runs on a single 486 or Pentium machine and can be expanded
to efficiently support well over 100 simultaneous high-speed callers and
up to 256 Internet connections. In addition, users can connect via LAN,
serial links, and optionally via ISDN and X.25 networks. RIP/ASCII/ANSI
terminals are also supported by Worldgroup.
If you haven't called with the client software (Worldgroup Manager/Plug-in),
then you're in for a real treat. You can download the client from the File
Library area in the WG library (the filename is WGCLIENT.EXE). After you've
downloaded it, place it into an empty directory and run it. It will
automatically extract itself, and execute the installation.
Just follow the prompts from there!
