Frederick Buechner

Frederick Buechner is a master writer and keenly insightful theologian. His Peculiar Treasures and Wishful Thinking are treasures of wit and wisdom about Biblical personalities and theological terms , respectively. His fiction works are full of humanity, theology in life, and extremely engrossing. I often check the bookstores for his latest masterpiece.

I first discovered Buechner through an interview in the Wittenburg Door, one of my other favorites in literature.

My original idea for this page was to find a Harper and Row contact on the Net and see about providing some enticing portions of Buechner's style from his books as a way to introduce some fellow theological journeyers to Buechner.
