Index for Communication Project

The center shows CMC as a tool for community. This is the main vehicle. It might be described as a person centered context, although this might seem a bit of a cliche. But nevertheless, I'll try to be faithful to the concept. I must admit that I have drawn another picture, and naming the picture itself CMC, and labeling the center piece as "People, separated by schedule, geography, and or society". On our picture, this is at the bottom. This is fine, for we can look at this as if we are standing in a doorway at the bottom of this picture, in the context of the people. CMC serves as a "hub" through which all pathways and relationships between the elements must pass. The "Interface Issues" box should be visualized as being on every path between all the elements. The chart doesn't function perfectly as an aid to describe my context, but does provide a tool to see some relationships between the elements. As I describe my experiences which led me to recognize each of these areas as key areas for ministry, I will refer back to the way this is pictured on the chart.

I will be writing, editing, collecting the online and printed magazine "New Technology Review" as a way of trying to communicate the possibilities for these elements in the church. But that is the project. The context, the audience, the "benefactors" of this project, will be described here. My experiences in coming to "discover" the possibilities that I will be trying to communicate in my project (the online magazine in both electronic and printed forms) will be the focus of my attention here.
