Getting Clued In As Web Churches

So ,  as the Clutrain people say,  we need a voice,  and we need to speak a language that identifies as human rather than sales brochures and product pushers.  We need to exhibit a desire to help people "be known".  We need to find ways to help people discover who God wants them to be -  which goes to the heart of becoming a "Child of God".  That the creator instills in us a set of skills, passions,  gifts,  and determinations which cuase us to seek out the purpose of our lives for all of our lives.  What we find as fulfillment of our calling may change and evolve as God continues to call us,  as the social context of our worlds change and create new needs for ministry.  God has a people and a set of calls that produce collaborations called "Ministries" or "Missions".  Mine is wrapped up in my involvement in the world of electronic communication,  and the Internet in particular.

Within the world of the Internet,  there is another world of social realities but realities that intersect with the information and communications of people as they navigate their "physical worlds";  the social realities ,  and even the spiritual realities,  span both worlds.  The world of the Internet hosts the connections,  but the actual "content" traversing the Internet as bits is translated by Web interfaces into many ways of aggregating related information,  connected stories,  and personal accounts.  The Church needs much more conversation ABOUT the conversations that we COULD host,  and could aggregate into a world which keeps the community "always on".
