The Way We Were: How Southern Baptist Theology has Changed A link to a book from Smith-Helwys (the "CBF Press") - a publisher made neccessary by the tightening of the reigns in the Southern Baptist Convention.  If a book that "strays" outside the "approved" boundaries is to be published by Southern Baptists, here is the place that does it.  I'd like to read this soon.....if I could just land some work so I can afford it!   The lineup of recommendatons is a pretty good list of people (including Walter Shurden,  who I had for a class at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1980: Baptist Theologians in Historical Perspective) comment [] 11:40:53 PM
