Fan fallout from MLB action now major fear: Strike may put baseball out, even at minor level Oh,   NOW it's a major fear?  Forget the previous strike's  mere 28% drop in attendance in '95.  This is a double whammy,  after all that the previous strile was supposed to remedy,  and after one figures that the owners would use some sense in the salary levels....which they did not.  And if the players strike,  they hurt their own chances of ever gaining ANYTHING,  for there will be no room left for negotiation with what income will be lost- and straight out of their pockets as all of MLB would suffer cataclysmic rebuff from the fans.   comment [] 6:37:11 AM
